The technique is employed in patients with mandibular scarcity. Four implants still ensure stability and strength to support a permanent dental bridge. Although the bridge may be slightly shorter, this does not compromise its quality or reliability. Currently, All-on-4 is the primary choice for dental implants among international patients visiting Costa Rica.
In the case of the six-implant solution, it is recommended for patients with less ideal jaws but still with enough bone to support them. Similar to All-on-8, it involves an arch bridge to support the artificial teeth.
All-on-8, with eight implants, is the sturdiest option due to its greater number of supports. However, it requires the jaw to have enough bone to sustain them, which can be a challenge for patients with mandibular trauma.
